The Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has announced the appointment of a high-powered delegation to oversee the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to a statement released by the Government House, the team will be led by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Jama’are, Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi (mni), who has been named the Amirul Hajj.
The Emir, as gathered by WorldClass247News, is expected to provide guidance and ensure the spiritual well-being of the state’s pilgrims.
Governor Mohammed emphasized that the selection of the team was based on merit, integrity, and a track record of public service, expressing confidence in their ability to execute their responsibilities with transparency and dedication.
He affirmed that the state government remains committed to supporting the spiritual journey of pilgrims, ensuring a seamless, safe, and fulfilling Hajj exercise.
The team, according to the governor, will work closely with the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to coordinate activities and logistics for the 2025 pilgrimage.
The governor also urged the team to carry out their duties with sincerity, fairness, and justice, while calling on all intending pilgrims to cooperate fully and uphold discipline throughout the holy journey.
