The Bauchi State government has expressed pride over the conferment of the prestigious Fellowship of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) on two distinguished indigenes of the state during the Institute’s Annual Conference held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
In an official statement from the Government House, the governor. Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, congratulated the NIPR on the successful hosting of the event and extended heartfelt felicitations to Malam Mohammed Inuwa Bello, Chairman of the Bauchi State Broadcasting Corporation and Managing Director of Eagle Radio, as well as Alhaji Bashi Adamu Ambi, a nominee from the Lagos chapter of NIPR.
“These outstanding professionals have brought pride to our state through their unwavering commitment to excellence in public relations.
Their elevation to the Fellowship rank the highest professional recognition within the NIPR is a testament to their dedication and significant contributions to the field,” Governor Mohammed stated.
The Governor also commended other newly inducted Fellows from across the country, describing their achievements as a source of inspiration and a reaffirmation of the core values of integrity, professionalism, and service in the industry.
He lauded the national leadership of the NIPR for maintaining high professional standards and ethical values, noting that the success of this year’s conference reflects the Institute’s dynamic growth and its increasing role in national development through effective communication strategies.
“As Bauchi State continues to invest in human capital and a thriving media sector, we are proud to see our citizens achieving national and global recognition,” the statement added.
Governor Mohammed reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting the growth of public relations practice in Nigeria and strengthening collaboration with professional bodies like the NIPR.
With the latest conferment, the Bauchi State Chapter of NIPR now boasts three Fellows: Mr. Andy Iheme, Kabiru Garba Aminu, and Alhaji Mohammed Inuwa Bello.
