The management of Federal University Wukari (FUW), Taraba state, has issued a final reminder to all new and returning students to complete the payment of their school fees and registration for the 2025/2026 academic session on or before Friday, July 10, 2026.
In a notice signed by the Dean of Students, Professor Ijasini John Tekwa, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Benjamin A. Kefas, the university urged students who are yet to register to take advantage of the remaining period before the deadline.
The management acknowledged the prevailing economic challenges facing Nigerians but noted that students had already been given ample time to complete their payments. According to the statement, fresh students have had more than four months since March 2026 to pay their fees, while returning students have had over two months since May 2026.
Students experiencing difficulties with the payment process were advised to visit the university’s payment portal immediately or seek assistance from the Director of ICT, the Dean of Students, or the Director of Examinations and Timetable.
The university warned that students who fail to pay their fees and complete registration by the July 10 deadline risk losing their place in the 2025/2026 academic session. It explained that the university’s registration process would be concluded by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) following the institution’s matriculation ceremony scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026.
Affected students were advised to apply for a deferment of admission to the 2026/2027 academic session to avoid forfeiting their studentship status.
The management also directed Deans and Heads of Departments to ensure that all unregistered students under their faculties and departments comply with the directive before the deadline.
