The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) , said it has fully restored bulk electricity supply to Eko and Ikeja Electricity Distribution Companies, bringing relief to millions of residents and businesses across Lagos State.
The restoration follows the urgent repair of a major fault on the 330-kilovolt Osogbo-Omotosho transmission line, which had caused significant power disruptions.
Ndidi Mbah, TCN’s Director of Public Affairs, in a statement, confirmed that the repair work was completed at exactly 8:55 PM on Saturday, allowing normal power transmission to resume.
With electricity supply back on track, Lagosians, as stated by him, can expect improved service as distribution companies work to stabilize the grid.
