SDNON Gears Up for 2025 Summit, Focused on Cyber Law and Media Taxation

The Society of Digital Newspaper Owners of Nigeria (SDNON) has announced that final preparations are underway for its highly anticipated 2025 summit, aimed at shaping the future of journalism in the country.

In a statement on Wednesday, SDNON President Dr. Adeniyi Ifeatayo described the association as a “collective of forward-thinking media professionals committed to shaping the future of journalism in Nigeria.” 

He emphasized that the summit represents an opportunity to promote credibility, innovation, and collaboration within the nation’s digital media landscape.

Scheduled for November 13, 2025, at the LCCI Business District, Alausa, Lagos, the summit, according to the Chairman of the Organizing Committee.Mr. Wale Onifade, will commence at 10:00 a.m.

Themed Policy Shifts in Cyber Law and Taxation: What They Mean dor the Media and Nigeria’s Economy,” the event, as made known in the statement,  will bring together experts in finance, cybercrime, taxation, and public relations. 

Speakers will provide in-depth analyses and practical perspectives on how evolving policies impact both the media industry and Nigeria’s broader economy, the statement read 

Dr. Ifeatayo reiterated SDNON’s mission to empower and unify digital newspaper owners through ethical journalism, innovation, and advocacy for media rights and sustainability. 

“Our vision is to be the leading voice and authority for digital news media in Nigeria driving credibility, professionalism, and progressive impact in the digital journalism space,” he added.

The 2025 summit, as gathered by the WorldClass247News, is expected to attract media professionals, policymakers, and industry stakeholders, underscoring SDNON’s commitment to advancing digital journalism in Nigeria.
