Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Friday commissioned the Taraba State Mobile Hospital in Jalingo, a key health initiative spearheaded by Governor Agbu Kefas to improve access to medical services across the state.
The facility, designed to deliver healthcare to remote and underserved communities, was officially launched during a ceremony that also saw the commissioning of free educational materials provided by the state government under its free education policy.
Senator Tinubu, who inspected the newly procured learning materials, praised Governor Kefas for his proactive leadership in both health and education sectors.
In support of the state’s healthcare efforts, the First Lady announced the donation of an additional mobile clinic van to Taraba State, aimed at complementing the state’s mobile hospital initiative.
“Governor Kefas has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the welfare of his people,” Tinubu said. “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is very pleased with his achievements, especially in improving access to health and education.”
She also applauded the governor’s free education policy, describing it as a transformative program that has already impacted many lives across the state.
The commissioning event marks another milestone in Taraba’s ongoing efforts to boost social services and improve the quality of life for its residents.
