Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has announced the immediate dissolution of the 50 Development Area Administrators serving across the state.
In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, the affected administrators have been directed to hand over all official responsibilities, documents, and government properties to the most senior staff members within their respective areas to ensure continuity in governance.
Governor Fintiri expressed appreciation for the contributions of the outgoing administrators, praising their dedication and role in fostering grassroots development.
“I commend the Development Area Administrators for their tireless efforts in stimulating development at the grassroots level. Their support has been instrumental in achieving successes in our state,” he said.
Describing them as “great motivators,” the Governor acknowledged the pivotal part they played in advancing his administration’s goals and extended his best wishes for their future endeavors.
The Governor’s office assured that adequate guidance will be provided to support a smooth transition, emphasizing that the administration remains committed to the welfare and development of the people of Adamawa State.
