The Coalition for Good Governance in Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency has thrown its support behind Ja’afaru Yakubu, endorsing him for another term in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued to journalists in Gassol Local Government Area, the coalition commended Yakubu’s record in office, describing his tenure as a benchmark for effective and people-centered representation.
The group said his leadership had consistently exceeded expectations, delivering tangible results across the constituency.
“Hon. Ja’afaru Yakubu has moved beyond promises to implement real change through legislative advocacy, development-driven projects, and youth empowerment,” the statement read. “His efforts have significantly improved living conditions, especially in long-neglected and hard-to-reach communities.”
The coalition pointed to achievements in infrastructure, education, and social welfare, praising Yakubu’s inclusive approach and grassroots engagement.
They noted that his style of representation had restored public confidence in democratic leadership and strengthened the link between government and the people.
Highlighting what it called “widespread calls” for Yakubu’s continued leadership, the coalition said the endorsement reflects the collective desire of constituents for sustained development and continuity.
“This is more than an endorsement—it is a call to protect the progress already made and ensure continued, responsive leadership,” the coalition stated.
The group concluded by urging Yakubu to answer what they described as an “overwhelming demand” from the people to return to the National Assembly in 2027 and build on the foundation already laid.
