The Delta State Commissioner for Works and Public Communication, Charles Aniagwu, has reiterated the state government’s commitment to delivering development projects that directly benefit the people, dismissing opposition claims as mere distractions.
Speaking at a press briefing, today , Aniagwu emphasized that the state governor, Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration remains focused on its developmental agenda, prioritizing infrastructure, social welfare, and economic growth.
He stated that the government would not be sidetracked by political rhetoric aimed at slowing its progress.
Highlighting the administration’s achievements, Aniagwu noted the national recognition Governor Oborevwori has received, including his recent honor as Governor of the Year by ThisDay and Arise News.
He described the award as a testament to the administration’s impactful policies and dedication to governance excellence.
The commissioner, also urged media organizations to uphold factual and balanced reporting, emphasizing the role of responsible journalism in showcasing the government’s efforts toward sustainable development across Delta State.
