The 6 Brigade of the Nigerian Army in Taraba state, has announced the commencement of its 2025 Annual Range Clarification exercise.
Scheduled to take place from today, to Thursday , the exercise, according to the statement released few minutes ago by the Brigade Acting spokesperson, Captain Oni Olubodunde, will take place at the Military Range in Jimlari area of Lau local government council.
The training, as announced by him, aims to enhance soldiers’ weapon handling and maintenance skills.
“During the period, there will be large scale movement of troops and military equipment, as well as live ammunition firing at the range.
The Army, as emphazied by the Brigade, assured the public that adequate safety measures are in place and urged residents not to panic.
Additionally, the Brigade beckoned at civilians to avoid the 114 Battalion Rear in Jimlari area throughout the exercise to prevent any safety concerns.
The military further called on media outlets to help disseminate the information, encouraging translations into local languages to ensure wider public awareness.
