According to the Force Public Relations Officer, Ani Iniedu, the victims were rescued on Wednesday, at Amakohia Ubi Village in Imo State, following sustained search-and-rescue operations conducted by the police in collaboration with other security agencies. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has rescued a man, identified as Bashir Usman, from an angry mob over an alleged attempt to abduct a five-year-old child in Kuje Area Council of the FCT. The Benue state government has given operators of unauthorised billboards across the state a two-week ultimatum to regularise their structures or face removal.
