The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission has reiterated its commitment to a transparent and merit-driven recruitment process, following directives from Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
In a statement to the press, the Commission’s Permanent Secretary, Abubakar Umar Maiha, assured applicants and the general public that the ongoing recruitment exercise would be fair and impartial.
“We are committed to ensuring a fair and credible process for all applicants. This exercise is being conducted under the clear directive of His Excellency, Governor Fintiri, to uphold transparency and equal opportunity,” Maiha stated.
According to the Commission, more than 20,000 applications were received within the first 24 hours of the recruitment portal going live, signaling intense interest in the 4,000 vacancies available across various departments.
To manage the overwhelming response, the Commission said it has upgraded its systems to handle increased traffic and prevent technical issues.
The application period, as made known by the commission, will remain open for two weeks, stating that, shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews and documentation in the following stages.
The Commission also urged prospective applicants to complete their submissions early to avoid the rush as the deadline approaches.
