Prof. Umaru’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maiduguri, where he laid the foundation for his future academic pursuits. He furthered his education with a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Benin, and later earned his PhD in Medical Biochemistry from University Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas).

Throughout his academic career, Prof. Umaru has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, earning numerous awards and recognition for his outstanding academic achievements.

Prof. Umaru’s attainment of professorship is a testament to his outstanding contributions to the field of Medical Biochemistry. Having published 6 books, 201 journals, numerous chapters, and providing support to academic writing and research.

His research has been widely published in reputable international journals, and he has received numerous awards for his outstanding research achievements. As a leading expert in Medical Biochemistry, Prof. Umaru continues to inspire and mentor students, researchers, and colleagues alike.

Prof. Umaru’s exceptional achievements have earned him global recognition as one of the world’s leading scientists. Notably, he has been ranked:

– Number 1 in Federal University Wukari

– Number 37 in Nigeria

– Number 85 in Africa

– Number 415 in the world

These rankings are a testament to his outstanding contributions to the field of Medical Biochemistry and his reputation as a leading expert.

Prof. Umaru is also a distinguished dignitary member of international academic and research consortium, further solidifying his position as a respected leader in his field.

Prof. Umaru’s legacy extends far beyond his impressive academic achievements. His dedication, passion, and commitment to advancing Medical Biochemistry have inspired a generation of researchers, educators, and students.

Through his teaching, research, and service, Prof. Umaru has made a profound impact on the academic community and society as a whole.
