The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three individuals for allegedly vandalizing and stealing electrical cables in Bororo village of Michika local government council of Adamawa state
According to a statement from the Command’s spokesperson, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the arrests were made on March 9, 2025, by a surveillance team from the Michika Divisional Police Headquarters during a routine patrol.
The suspects, identified as Emmanuel John (34), Habila Kwaji (22), and Mohammed Garba (28), were reportedly found in possession of stolen electrical power cables.
During a preliminary investigation, the police stated that the trio allegedly confessed to the crime and remain in custody as further inquiries continue.
The Commissioner of police, Dankombo Morris,commended the officers involved in the operation and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to protecting public infrastructure.
He also urged residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities to law enforcement.
“The Adamawa State Police Command remains committed to protecting public property and ensuring that perpetrators of such crimes face justice,” Morris stated.
Authorities confirmed that the suspects will face prosecution upon the completion of the investigation.
