The Adamawa State Police Command has condemned two separate arson attacks that left properties destroyed in Lafiya, Lamurde Local Government Area, and Boshikiri village in Guyuk Local Government Area.
The incidents, which took place on 2nd July 2025, involved unidentified individuals who set fire to thatched huts, resulting in the loss of properties belonging to Mrs. Ododumga Kenneth and Mr. Nura Haruna.
In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, ordered a discreet investigation into the attacks and directed immediate deployment of officers to prevent further violence and apprehend those responsible.
Morris warned that anyone found instigating violence or engaging in criminal activities would face the full weight of the law.
The Command urged residents to remain calm, cooperate with security agencies, and report any suspicious movements or activities.
