The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with a burglary at a phone accessories shop in Kilimi Village, Michika Local Government Area.
In a statement issued by the Command’s spokesperson, Suleiman Nguroje, the arrest followed credible intelligence regarding the break-in, which occurred on September 5, 2025.
According to the police, the suspects allegedly broke into the shop and carted away several valuable items. Acting promptly on the tip-off, officers from the Gombi Divisional Police Headquarters traced and apprehended the suspects.
Items recovered from the suspects include a mobile phone, MP3 player, DP light, and a rechargeable table fan, among others.
The suspects have been identified as Hassan Adam, 25, and Daniel Ishaya, 30 — both residents of Michika Town. Police say the suspects confessed to the crime during interrogation.
As of the time of this report, authorities said the duo would be charged to court upon the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
Commending the successful operation, Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, lauded the operatives for their swift action and restated the Command’s commitment to maintaining public safety and combating crime across the state.
