As the countdown begins for the much anticipated SCOAN South Africa Revival, faith seekers from across the continent are converging on Johannesburg with hearts full of expectation.

The revival, set to commence on May 16 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, is themed “Holy Spirit Visitation with Pastor Evelyn Joshua,” and promises to be more than a gathering  it is expected to be a watershed moment of spiritual transformation.

The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), under the leadership of Pastor Evelyn Joshua, is drawing widespread attention not only from South Africans but also from visitors from neighboring countries. Many are arriving with deep spiritual hunger, ready for healing, deliverance, and an encounter with God’s power.

From the testimonies shared ahead of the revival, it is evident that this event is stirring profound faith and high expectations. Johannesburg resident Jan Matli voiced his anticipation of a sweeping spiritual renewal.

“This revival will reveal God’s hidden power to destroy the deception that the children of God have been fed with. This visitation must bring total deliverance and transformation,” he said.

Thato Mathibela echoed a desire for divine impartation. “I want to have an unforgettable encounter with God during this revival with Pastor Evelyn Joshua. I want to receive impartation and the baptism of the Holy Spirit,” she said.

For Norah Dlomo, the revival represents a chance for both personal and familial breakthrough. “I want God to deliver and heal my family. I also want to grow spiritually with the guidance of our mother in the Lord, Pastor Evelyn Joshua,” she shared.

Among those returning to The SCOAN fold is Abigail Fourie, who experienced a life-altering healing in Lagos, Nigeria, back in 2006. Delivered from a generational curse, her life has since taken a new direction. “Now, I am expecting to be baptized by the Holy Spirit so that I can be all God has created me to be,” she said.

A Malawian attendee residing in Johannesburg shared a similar testimony of divine intervention. After receiving the church’s Morning Water, he and his wife who had previously been barren were blessed with children. “The God of Prophet T.B. Joshua is a miracle working God. I am here to experience more of His blessings,” he affirmed.

For Patrick Isaka, a consultant originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, the revival is an opportunity to sustain the blessings he’s already received. “I have witnessed many good things in my career through The SCOAN. I am here to experience God and maintain the blessings I have received in the past,” he said.

Perhaps the most poignant testimony came from South African resident Albert Ndhlovu, who shared his yearning for a turnaround. “My life is messed up and I believe God will restore, renew, and redeem me and my family during this revival with Pastor Evelyn Joshua,” he said.

The Gallagher Convention Centre has already become a hub of spiritual anticipation. According to SCOAN’s media team, crowds are streaming in by the thousands, with joy and hope etched into their faces. Registration lines are long, yet orderly, as participants prepare themselves for what they believe will be an encounter with the divine.

As May 16 draws near, the air in Johannesburg grows heavy with expectation. For many, the SCOAN South Africa Revival isn’t just an event  it’s a lifeline, a turning point, and a long-awaited answer to prayer.
