Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening digital engagement and strategic communication by pledging greater support for content creators working under his government.
The governor made the pledge during a strategic media engagement held Thursday at the Government House in Yola, where he met with a team of content creators tasked with promoting the activities and achievements of the “Fresh Air” administration.
Addressing the group, Governor Fintiri urged them to rededicate themselves to showcasing the milestones recorded by his government, emphasizing the vital role digital media plays in governance, transparency, and civic participation.
“This administration recognises the value of effective communication. Execution alone is not enough—visibility and storytelling are equally important,” Fintiri stated.
The content creators, led by Ijahu Ijabani, expressed appreciation to the governor for the opportunity to contribute to the state’s development narrative through digital platforms.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Ijabani assured the governor of their renewed commitment to promoting people-centered policies and projects through photography, videography, social media campaigns, and ground-level storytelling.
Governor Fintiri acknowledged the group’s growing importance as a bridge between government actions and public awareness. He stressed that improved visibility of government programmes would further deepen public trust and participation.
The engagement, described by participants as energizing, ended on a high note with renewed optimism for enhanced tools, training, and resources to broaden the reach of their work both within and outside Adamawa State.
