Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos Zonal Directorate 2, have arrested 93 suspected internet fraudsters in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The suspects were apprehended on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in a sting operation following credible intelligence linking them to alleged cybercrime activities.
According to the EFCC, the operation led to the recovery of 18 vehicles and several mobile devices from the suspects.
The anti-graft agency said the suspects would be charged to court upon the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
