The Ondo State Government has reiterated its commitment to prioritizing the health and well-being of residents through a comprehensive healthcare plan under the Ministry of Health.
Speaking at the quarterly Data Dissemination and Review Meeting of IMPACT MALARIA (PDO) Indicator for the second quarter of 2025, Commissioner for Health, Dr. Banjo Awolowo Ajaka, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Adeniran Ikuomola, said the administration remains determined to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state.
Dr. Ajaka called for stronger collaboration among stakeholders, stressing that all health programs in the state are aimed at improving the lives of citizens.
He noted that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has been working to ensure that all health facilities in the state are functional and accessible, urging healthcare workers to take ownership of government programs and ensure their success.
He warned that stakeholders’ performance would directly reflect the governor’s efforts, adding that lapses could lead to public dissatisfaction.
In his welcome address, Dr. Ikuomola urged participants from all 18 local government areas to provide constructive feedback on the data presented.
He emphasized that regular review of healthcare data is vital to the state’s strategy for delivering quality health services.
